Can I use Perfectly Clear Complete V3 Plugins with older or newer versions of Photoshop or PaintShop Pro?

***Please note that Perfectly Clear Complete has been discontinued and the newest version of the product is Radiant Photos.  

Short answer: probably 🙂

The Perfectly Clear Complete installer automatically locates all installed versions of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Photoshop Elements and Corel PaintShop Pro, and then install the plugin for all these products.

If the installer was unable to locate a version of Photoshop or PaintShopPro, or if you are using a different image editing application, you will need to manually locate the appropriate plug-in installation location. Here’s how:

Windows

The Perfectly Clear Complete Photoshop plugin will always be installed to these folders in Windows:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\CC\Athentech\Perfectly Clear V3 Photoshop Plugin\
or
C:\Program Files\Athentech\Perfectly Clear Plug-in PS V3\

Install Perfectly Clear Complete, then copy the Perfectly Clear V3 Photoshop Plugin folder from C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\CC\Athentech folder and paste this into the host application’s Plugin filters folder.

MacOS

/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Plug-Ins/CC/Filters/PerfectlyClearCompletePS.plugin
or
/Applications/Athentech/Perfectly Clear Complete V3/PerfectlyClearCompletePS.plugin

Install Perfectly Clear Complete, than copy the PerfectlyClearCompletePS.plugin package from the /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Plug-Ins/CC/Filters folder and paste this into the host application’s Plugin filters folder.

Example

The Corel PaintShop Pro 2022 (64-bit) plugin’s folder in Windows is C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel PaintShop Pro 2022 (64-bit)\Plugins. Create the Athentech subfolder in the folder and copy there the Perfectly Clear V3 Photoshop Plugin folder including it’s content: the PerfectlyClearCompletePS.8bf file and PCPlugin folder.
