Saving time in the editing process can be a great thing. We all would love more time for shooting right? Perfectly Clear by Athentech is a great tool that takes your correcting process and does it for you in just one click.

Perfectly Clear is a plug-in for Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom. It allows you to quickly correct exposure issues, color tints, noise and much more on your photos. Installing Perfectly Clear is very easy. The directions on the website are easy to understand and the plug-in is installed very fast.

Perfectly Clear has twelve areas of correction: Tint Removal, Exposure, Depth/Contrast, Color Vibrancy, Fidelity, Sharpening, Noise, Skin Tone, Light Diffusion, Red-Eye, and Vivid. The science behind these corrections is incredible. I can’t explain it nearly as good as the folks at Athentech! After I installed Perfectly Clear onto my computer, I dove in to see what it could do. I started with the photo of my daughter lying on the grass. It was a bit underexposed and the grass added a green tint to her skin and hair that I didn’t like. I opened up the Perfectly Clear filter, located in the Filter Menu. By default, it will automatically apply a number of corrections to your photos. The default correction does not apply Tint correction automatically, so I clicked on the check box and it corrected the green tint on her skin and hair.

If you would like to do more fine tuning on your images, simply click on any of the adjustments and adjust! The program also has several presets for some common photo types, like portraits and landscapes. I used the “landscape” preset on the photo of flowers and that was it. One click and I was done! On the photo of the prison cells, I manually adjusted the corrections and was able to create a more contrast-y, gritty look very quickly.

I love being able to quickly enhance my images so I can get down to the fun part, creative editing! Perfectly Clear took all my correcting process and cut it by 90%! It takes just seconds now instead of minutes.
